Dear Daisy,

how are you doing?

Earlier on, I received a reply from the MP office, and they says that my case about the IELTS for immigration has been resolved. It is simply because I took the IELTS earlier on and sent the the result to the CIC in Buffalo. They told the office that they have received it and the mark I have got for the English language section was 16.


The CIC also told the office that my file would not reviewed again until December this year. I hope it is normal. If they have to review my files for a few times more before they can make the decision for granting me a PR or not, it may take a very long time!

Thanks for your help earlier on! Otherwise, I really do not know what else can be done at that time!

international student wants to become Canada immigrant

Hi Daisy,

i am an international student from hong kong.. i am now a 4th year student from SFU studying economics minor in sociology. i came to canada since 1997 and study recieve high school education in canada.. i want to know what are the possibilites for me to success to become an immigrant?? will i get a chance to reach 67 points? my uncle and aunt and cousins have received permanent resident since 1998... will i get any points from them??

i am on work study program in SFU now... have been working for half a year already, i think i will be able to continue working at the lab as a research assistant... and also i have just applied for a off-campus work permit...

i will be graduating from SFU next year (2007) and i would like to apply as immigrant, do i have any chance??

學歷:大陸大學畢業,學士學位. 工作時間10年,(今年年底前將拿到臺灣身份證),工作內容主要以進出口貿易為主,英文也用在工作中,與外國人電話和EMAIL聯繫還可以

我們結婚8年,有一個5歲的兒子.我們都沒有考過任何的TOFEL和雅思,是否我們需要考試,是不是以我先生為申請比較好,可否詳細的說明嗎?
