Hi Daisy,
I have some question regarding immigration...
- I am a Canadian citizen (non-resident) living in Hong Kong since 2003, working as a software engineer. I have worked in Canada after graduation from UBC for 3.5 years.
- I will be getting married in Jan 2007 and we would like to move back to Canada after marriage. He is working as a system analyst for 7 years, have a Master degree from Hong Kong University.
We have 2 options:
1) Family Class Immigration
- But I need to show evidence of intention to move back to Canada, what kind of proof is needed? I do not have any property in Hong Kong or Canada. I am not going to study. We plan to stay in my parents' house when we move back, so we don't need to rent a home for that... Please help to clarify what other proof can serve the purpose??
- Can we move back to Canada after the immigration is approved or I have to go back and find a stable job (for income proof) before I can submit an application??
2) Skilled Worker Class Immigration
- What is the passing mark?
- How long does it usually takes?? Is it a lot longer than thru Family Class Immigration??
- But then we could move back together??
A million thanks advance for your valuable advise
Yours,
Jasmine
